Dr. Melanie Seto attended the University of California, Los Angeles, for her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude. She continued on to the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry for her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Orthodontic Fellowship. Her Certificate in Orthodontics and MBA were both earned at Roseman University.
In addition to her formal education, Dr. Seto has participated in the Orthodontic Study Club, Pacific and as the Co-President of the Cariology Study Club, Pacific. She was named the AAO Resident Champion 2017-2018.
Dr. Seto is passionate about philanthropic work. She is involved with Give Kids a Smile in California and Nevada, which provides free dental exams and oral health education for underserved communities. She also served as the Co-Founder and President Caring Soles San Francisco, CA, a charitable organization established in 1998 that organizes shoe drives at club, gyms, and schools. She also supports the San Francisco Symphony and the San Francisco Arthritis Foundation.
Originally from San Francisco, CA, Dr. Seto splits her time between the Bay Area and Tucson. She is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves to try new places to eat. Her favorite sports teams are the San Francisco Giants and the Golden State Warriors.
